• Predecessor = the previous number. (n \rightarrow n-1)

Step 2: Find each value

1. (a) Successor of (32)

   (32+1=33)

2. (b) Predecessor of (49)

   (49-1=48)

3. (c) Predecessor of the predecessor of (56)

   First predecessor: (56-1=55)

   Second predecessor: (55-1=54)

4. (d) Successor of the successor of (67)

   First successor: (67+1=68)

   Second successor: (68+1=69)

Step 3: Add all four answers

(33+48=81)

(81+54=135)

(135+69=204)

Final sum = (204)
